From the East gate of the airport, Stephanie was running as fast as she could. After being stocked in the metropolitan traffic for half an hour, she had almost thrown the tip at her taxi driver before she jumped out of the car. She had not yet made five steps in the airport when she heard the last call for her flight back to Quebec. Goodness! There was no time to waste. Luggage in a hand, ticket in the other, she ran to her boarding gate on the other side of the airport. Poor Stephanie was looking at her watch when her running was abruptly halted.

Depuis la porte est de l’aéroport Stéphanie courait du plus vite qu’elle le pouvait. Après avoir été coincée dans le trafic métropolitain pendant une demi-heure, elle avait presque lancé le pourboire à son chauffeur de taxi avant de sauter hors de la voiture. Elle n’avait pas fait cinq pas dans l’aéroport lorsqu’elle entendit le dernier appel pour son vol de retour vers Québec. Bonté divine! Il n’y avait pas de temps à perdre. Ses bagages dans une main, son billet dans l’autre, elle courut vers son poste d’embarquement de l’autre côté de l’aéroport. La pauvre Stéphanie regardait sa montre lorsque sa course fut subitement arrêtée.

從機場的東邊入口，史蒂芬妮用盡全力的跑。在經過半小時在都會區的通勤後，他只能匆忙地將車費塞給計程車司機並迅速跳下車。他還走不到五步，便聽到飛往魁北克的班機正在發佈最後一次登機通知。喔天啊! 在這刻不容緩的情況下，史蒂芬妮一手提著行李，另一隻手緊握機票，狂奔到機場另一邊的登機口。

可憐的史蒂芬妮突然一個急停，猛然看了一眼手錶…。
